4 on the 4th

6:00pm – 10:00pm

A 4 hour pre-fireworks celebration of America played on 99.9 KONY Country. Featuring commercial-free, patriotic music, quotes, and messages from the community. Listeners can tune-in on the radio at 99.9 FM, online, iPhone or Android apps, or their smart speaker.

Largest Firework Show in Southern Utah History

10:00pm – 10:30pm

Southern Utah’s largest choreographed firework show launched from Tech Ridge for the whole city to see. Tune-in to 99.9fm to hear the choreographed patriotic tribute.

FIREWORK SHOW ROAD CLOSURES
No pedestrian or vehicle traffic will be allowed south of Cliffside Restaurant and DXATC (South Airport Drive) on the 4th of July.  Please avoid going to this area to view the fireworks.  See our map (scrolling link or something) for the best places in town to view the show.

Post Fireworks Party!

10:30pm – 11:30pm

Following the fireworks, patriotic fun & festivities on 99.9fm for the drive home.

Ticket Stops

There will be ticket stops every day (except Sunday) until May 24th. Listen to the KONY Country Morning Show with Marty & Amy at 7:15am. They will tell you when and where we are going to be that very day giving away tickets!

Tickets go on sale May 24th at 10am at www.dsutix.com.

Ticket Stop Rules

  • All Canyon Media Rules Apply unless otherwise noted below
  • Must be 18 or older
  • You can only win once per broadcast
  • Same house hold CAN win at each ticket stop
  • Must be present to enter and win
  • Must show ID to win
  • One Entry Per Person
  • No cash value
  • Employees of ticket stop location are not eligible to win
  • Vouchers must be redeemed at Canyon Media (3143 S. 840 East #100) between May 31-June 7
  • Must show ID to redeem tickets

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

  • Everyone MUST have a ticket – NO EXCEPTIONS! Babies too.
  • No outside food or drink except water. No coolers. Bag check at entrance.
  • Blankets encouraged. No chairs on track or field.
  • No umbrellas.
  • DSU Concessions will be open as well as food truck city & drink stations.
  • Entry is first come, first served. No saving seats or areas.
  • Same with parking. Save time, take a taxi or an Uber.
  • When leaving please clean up and use trash cans provided.
  • No alcohol, smoking, or tobacco products allowed.
  • No re-entry.

ALTERNATE FIREWORKS VIEWING

  • DSU Encampment Mall open to everyone! No ticket required. Front row to fireworks. Located by the Holland Building-Where Kite Festival is held.
  • No Pets!
  • Having a good time – REQUIRED!
