Sam Hunt Is Engaged to the Girl Who Inspired “Montevallo”, and He Released a New Song About Them

SAM HUNT got engaged over the holidays to Hannah Lee Fowler, the woman who inspired his “Montevallo” album.  He also released a new song about their relationship.

SAM HUNT got engaged over the holidays to the woman who influenced his “Montevallo” album.  Her name is Hannah Lee Fowler and you may have seen some of the photos he posted of them hanging out last year.

He released a new song too.  It’s called “Drinkin’ Too Much” . . . and it’s about their relationship.  It’s filled with lyrics of him apologizing for, like, everything.

Here are a few lines:  “I’m sorry people know your name now and strangers hit you up on social media.  I’m sorry you can’t listen to the radio and drive to the place we used to get peaches.  I know you want your privacy and you’ve got nothing to say to me.”

He even name-checks her toward the end:  “You changed your number and moved and this is the only way I can reach you.  Hannah Lee, I’m on my way to you.”
